With this group I don't just want to introduce the world to African musical culture but also convey an important message: a hand extended to the other person may seem like just a small help but it has a very profound meaning. And I want to entrust the transmission of this message to music, a medium that always touches the depths of the heart of each of us, to the point of bringing the most different cultures closer together. The drum is my life: it taught me education, tolerance, respect, sharing, patience, knowing how to live positivity, learning to donate. 
Today I would like to use the vibrations of my drum to bring together and unite, overcoming every division and diversity. All of us, sooner or later, will leave this world. Life is short and must be lived with and in love: let's try to be united, to love each other, to hug each other, to greet each other, to respect each other and to open up to each other every day. Love overcomes all differences and divisions: despite cultural and ethnic differences we are all part of the same family. Life is a theatrical performance on a big stage and it is up to us to leave a message. I would like mine to be this: we give every day because those who give are always happier than those who receive. We give without reserve, and life will reward us. The drum is an instrument that brings peace, unites people, does not lead to racism, goes beyond borders; its rhythm calls all people to share and peace. Great Mother Africa tells this, transforming the notes into a direct bridge between hearts and carrying forward values such as respect, peace, love.

The cultural project I propose has as its purposereflection on the themes of the encounter between different cultures.

It retraces the stages of a journey that saw Africans move from their continent to reach Europe and America. The main instrument is the djembe. In Africa the djembè is considered an instrument of social communication and is used to celebrate fundamental moments in people's lives. 

Music unites the people of the world; in Africa music and dance are central elements of the culture of the people and are endowed with great social and religious value. African music stimulates the spirit and warms the hearts of those who approach it: following the instinctive ancestral call of the drum rhythm will open the "door" to a world made of tradition, passion, sharing, music, songs and dances.  

In my show the drum will guide not only the dancers but also the spectators who will immerse themselves in the story and the scenes that they will experience as if they were the protagonists. The message that  I want to convey is that through music you can cross the borders between cultures; music is a hand reaching out to others, it unites rather than divides. 

The plot tells the story of the slaves who leave their beloved Africa, cross Europe leaving the imprint of their origins through Afro and blues music and  then they arrive in America. 

In summary "one hand washes but two hands clean better". Life in this world is just a passage, so knowing a culture different from your own is a personal enrichment.

The cost of the show is 2000 euros. Regular electronic invoice is issued.

made with 5 kg tin containers,

goatskin and rope, the cost increases by 8 euros for each child/youth.   In this case the drums remain in their possession. Negotiable. Payment can be made with a regular electronic invoice, provided you have a VAT number.
